What is a Sacred Glo™ lotion candle?
Sacred Glo lotion candles are handcrafted in small batches in our Florida state certified manufacturing facility. Our ingredients are Soy bean oil, Shea Butter, natural essential oils and eco-friendly fragrant scents. When burned, the melted oils create a pool of warm body lotion or massage oil. How do I use Sacred Glo lotion candles? Light the Sacred Glo lotion candle. Wait about 10 minutes for the pool of oil to melt. Gently (so as not to splash) blow out the candle, and then pour the warm oil into the palm of your hands. Use it as a lotion or aromatic massage oil. Will I burn myself? The only thing that can burn is the actual flame. The unique property of the soy bean oil causes it to heat to just 2 degrees above body temperature, which will feel warm -- never hot -- to the touch. Can I use it all over my body? Yes, the all-natural ingredients are safe for the skin and can be used all over the body. Avoid use on irritated skin. What's the big deal about all-natural ingredients? The skin is our body's largest organ. Its pores absorb the lotions, creams and other cosmetics as we rub them in. Many traditional lotions and massage oils contain a high proportion of petroleum-based products and chemical additives, which can be harmful to the skin and the environment. Traditional candles emit toxins when burned. Sacred Glo lotion candles place only all natural and / or organic ingredients on your skin, and burn cleanly without sending toxins into the air. What's the difference between your body lotion candle and a regular candle with paraffin? Sacred Glo lotion candles do not contain paraffin or other petroleum-based ingredients. Paraffin candles are a petroleum by-product, and their use indirectly benefits foreign oil suppliers. Paraffin candles leave behind a black residue and emit smoke containing residue particles. That reside not only adversely affects walls, ceilings, curtains, and carpets, it also diminishes your air quality and enters your lungs. Some people claim they get headaches from burning candles; those headaches may be caused by the large amounts of synthetic fragrances in traditional candles. Where are your scents derived from? Our scents are natural extracts, essences, and essential oils from earth's abundant, renewable plant life; a gift from nature! Each ingredient offers its own set of therapeutic properties and a feast for the sense. We also incorporate cosmetic-safe fragrance oils to complement and boost the scent experience you enjoy when using Sacred Glo lotion candles. How long will the fragrance last? Does it fade? The aromatic scents in Sacred Glo candles last throughout the entire lifecycle of the candle. The scent does not fade as the candle ages and the candle does not need to be covered to preserve the scent. I'm allergic to nuts and your candle has shea butter in it. Should I use it? No, the nut oil may cause a reaction to nut allergy sufferers. Are Sacred Glo lotion candles earth-friendly? Yes. The soy oils and shea butter oils are a completely renewable resource. America has an excess of soybeans that exceeds 7 billion pounds annually. Burning soy oil does not release harmful carcinogens into the air. Even the beautiful glass candle holder is reusable and can be used as a drinking glass or an elegant bathroom accessory!
