Eco-friendly products get national buzz

New all-natural lotion candle business catches attention of national magazine

Tampa Bay, FL – March 02, 2009 – After less than one year in business, Ederle Greene and Sacred Glo lotion candles are being featured in Business Week Magazine in the Small Biz section.

In a special feature entitled “From Wall Street to Main Street” five entrepreneurs who went from fast paced careers in the financial industry to owning a small business were highlighted in a pictorial on the Business Week website.

Ederle Greene, founder of Sacred Glo lotion candles, was one of the entrepreneurs included in the feature. Greene stated “If someone had told me a year ago that I would have started my own business and be in a national magazine, I would’ve thought they were crazy. Yet there I was, sitting on the beach, surrounded by my candles, getting my photos taken for Business Week.”

Greene is a former Assistant vice-president of business planning analysis who found herself forced out of her career. Suffering from various disabilities made it difficult for Greene to manage the stress of a career in the financial industry. Like many others coping with the effects of a recession, Greene and her daughters focused their time, energy and resources into finding a viable, long term solution. In November 2008, Sacred Glo company was launched with a unique eco-friendly lotion candle. In 2009, Sacred Glo will add additional all-natural beauty products.
